Sub : Intimation of change of name of the Bank.
Ref : Compliance with clause 32 of the Listing Agreement.

Reserve Bank of India vide its letter. No No.DBOD.Ret.BC.52 /
12.06.052 /2002-2003 dated 17.12.2002 (Annexure) advised that the name of the
"The Vysya Bank Limited" has been changed to "ING Vysya
Bank Limited" in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India
Act, 1934 with effect from 7th December, 2002, i.e., the date on which the
relative notification DBOD.No.PSBS.596 /16.01.077/2002-2003 dated 21.11.2002
was published in The Gazette of India (Part III-Section 4 ).
This is also in pursuance of the Special Resolution passed by
the Shareholders at the 71st Annual General Meeting of the bank held on 21st
September, 2002 and approval of the Registrar of Companies, Karnataka vide
letter no. STA I/BS/124/CN/21/2002 dated 31.10.2002.
The change of name follows the increase in stake of the ING in
the equity of the bank from 20% to 43.99% on 7.9.2002.
