This service is available to customer absolutely free of cost. SMS charges as applicable will be levied by your mobile operator.

Note for FD booking on SMS:

1. SMS booking of FDs can be done only by the mobile number registered on the SB account with the bank.
2. Only ADR (Akshaya Deposits) i.e. Interest Reinvestment FDs with a minimum tenure of 6 months and minimum amount of Rs 10,000 can be booked on SMS.
3. The FDs booked using SMS channel will be booked in the same names and with same Mode of Operation as the SB account being debited.
4. A nomination is not placed automatically on the FD account booked by SMS. Please visit the nearest ING branch, fill form DA1 and submit at the branch, to register for “Nomination”.
5. A Deposit Confirmation Advice(DCA) can be obtained at the nearest ING branch for FDs booked on SMS.
6. A daily cap of 5 bookings & 10Lakh applies for FDs booking using SMS.
7. Registration for SMS banking by sending REG ‹ A/c # › is a pre-requisite for SMS based FD booking.
